KPOCU wants to help members, ages 13 - 18 or students (with school ID), make the most of their financial future by getting a good start on their financial needs of today. As an Eagle Club member, you'll learn about smart money management and the importance of good credit. You'll get the information you need to make informed financial choices on a variety of topics, such as purchasing your first new or used vehicle or applying for a student loan. At KPOCU, you'll learn about the credit union difference and about the lifetime of benefits available to you as a member/owner.

Qualified Eagle Club members can:

  • Receive an Eagle Club ID card and a FREE booklet "Guide to Money - Getting a Good Start."
  • Open a totally FREE Checking Account with no minimum balance and no service charge. With our Freedom Checking, write unlimited checks, have Overdraft Protection from your Savings and get FREE round-the -clock account information on PAL. Plus, your first box of checks is FREE! (American Classic Checking is also available). A parent or legal guardian must be a joint owner on all checking accounts for members under age 18. A KPOCU Checking Application must be completed and all terms and conditions of KPOCU will apply.
  • Apply for a FREE Express Debit Card. Use at any merchant where VISA is accepted. Standard Eagle Club ATM access is $100 per day. Express Card activity will be monitored and privileges revoked if abused. Member must qualify and agree to all KPOCU terms and conditions.
  • Open a 1-Year Eagle Tailored Certificate with a lower minimum of $500.00 or start an Education IRA. Plus, you can be ready for the holidays with a Christmas Club at KPOCU.
  • Apply for a Signature Loan (up to $500, maximum term to repay - 12 months) or a Classic or Secured VISA (up to $250) without a co-applicant. Eagle Club member must have at least 6 months work history, a good credit history (if any credit has been established previously), and the ability to repay. The consent of a parent or legal guardian will be required. Eagle Club members who do not meet these requirements can apply for a loan or VISA with a parent or legal guardian as co-applicant. Members under the age of 18 may also apply for higher credit limits with a qualified co-applicant. A KPOCU Loan or VISA application must be completed and all terms and conditions of KPOCU will apply.
